Men’s Health Month
Men and boys during the month of June are encouraged to take charge of their health. Get outdoors, exercise, eat a healthy meal, get screened, and check in with a friend. Use this month to establish a healthy routine with good habits and continue to carry these good habits throughout the rest of the year.
There are multiple websites with resources from exercise tips to healthy recipes to mental health resources and podcasts as well as health screening, such as testicular and prostate cancer checks.
The Canadian Men’s Health Foundation provides a multitude of information and tools for men and their families to live healthy lifestyles. Men are dying at an alarming rate due to chronic illnesses but living healthier helps men to ensure they are around to be with their families longer. Get motivated to move with these exercise tips.
